Adjustable weights good for other uses

I have a FIT vest and travel frequently between Australia and the US. I needed an extra set of 10 lb weights so I can travel only with the vest and pack with weights on arrival. The 0.5 lb rucking weights are the same as the FIT vest so perfect!

Fits great

Love the vest. The 10 pounds is well distributed making the vest comfortable to wear. The adjustable cords help you adjust for the desired snugness. My only wish is that there were a more clever way to hide the excess cords, rather than tuck them in.
Other than that, this vest is outstanding.

Innovation starts with the fundamentals. For the FIT and the TAC adjustable flexible plates, Hyperwear invented 1/2 pound containers that are Made in the USA from 100% recycled steel shot. Choose the correct weights for your model:

  • FIT: individual weights are 1/2 pound and one fits per pocket. If you buy a 5 lb vest you will have 10 empty pockets available to load to the 10 lb maximum capacity.
  • Hyperwear TACTICAL Flexible Plates: are offered in pairs of 6 lbs and 9 lbs trapezoidal shape plates. You can full adjust the weight of the plate by removing and adding 1/2 lb individual weights that are included. The rectangular 10 lb plates are compatible with the Hyperwear TAC tactical style weight vest and only sold with the TAC vest and not sold separately. The 6 and 9 lb blue trapezoidal shape plates are compatible with the Hyper Vest TAC, WOLF TACTICAL Adjustable Weight Vest (NOT Wolf "Quick-Release" model vest), 5.11 TacTec® Plate Carrier (NOT 5.11 “TRAINER” vest) , GFIRE Tactical Vest, TRIBE WOD and most vests that hold large SAPI plates. Flexible Plates are 1/4 wider than the large SAPI standard. Use in place of 8.75 lb solid iron plates. Remove a few weights to hit MURPH 20lb standard. Not compatible with Bear Komplex, Condor, NorthGym, 5.11 Trainer Weight Vest (does fit original 5.11 TacTec plate carrier), Wolf Tactical "Quick Release" weight vest (does fit original Wolf Tactical adjustable weight vest).  The 6 lbs plates are small and compatible with Bear Komplex, Rogue, Goruck Training Weight Vest, Condor, NorthGym, 5.11 Weight Vest, WOLF Tactical.

We warranty our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 12 months from date of purchase.  With proof of purchase your exclusive remedy under this warranty is that we will replace (one-time replacement), without charge* Hyperwear products purchased on Hyperwear.com, Amazon or other authorized seller site. In order to receive a warranty exchange customer must be original purchaser with proof of purchase- second hand requests will not be approved.  Gifted items must have proof of purchase.   

This warranty does not apply to any unit which we determine has been subjected to abuse, alteration, neglect or misuse such as damage caused by sharp objects, rough and abrasive surfaces or mishandling according to our care and use guide.  Punctures and tears are not covered under our general warranty.  Please reach out to customerservice@hyperwear.com for repair guide.Please initiate your warranty request below for authorization and additional instructions.  Once approved items must be returned to Hyperwear (prepaid*) prior to any exchange product being shipped back to you.

We will issue a refund on unused items purchased from Hyperwear.com with proof of purchase within 30 days of receipt and returned to Hyperwear within 60 days at the customer’s expense.  For returns or exchanges through Amazon, Rogue or other site please contact reseller point of purchase to initiate.  *Orders placed from November 1st- December 31st have an extended return period of 60 days. 

Please initiate your exchange or return request below where you will receive authorization and additional instructions.  Items must be returned to Hyperwear in good saleable condition and if possible in original packaging prior to the exchange product being shipped back to you or refunded.
